Executive Profile

Neil McGlynn - Chief Executive Officer

Neil McGlynn is widely respected within the logistics and retail industries.

He first began working in the sector in 1977 when he left school and joined W.T. Air Cargo as a Trainee Imports Clerk.

Thanks to Neil’s instinctive business acumen, he rapidly rose through the ranks to become Managing Director six years later.

He was instrumental in the company’s rapid progression particularly its expansion into the developing markets of Hong Kong, China, South East Asia, Sri Lanka and India.

In 1985, Neil bought W.T. Air Cargo Ltd from the W.T. Shipping Group and during the next few years created a number of complementary services including Duty Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Solutions and vacuum-packing.

In 2003, he purchased the W.T. Shipping Group and united all services under the banner of W.T. SeaAir, now known as W.T.SeaAir.

Neil holds a Doctorate in Business Management and Logistics and is a member of the following organizations: Institute of Directors, Institute of Freight Professionals, British International Freight Association, Road Haulage Association, Institute of Logistics Management and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

He is a Director and shareholder in United Breweries of America, and a founder member and Director of First Luggage – the world’s leading international door-to-door luggage collection and delivery service.

Neil is a committee member and trustee of the Children’s No.1 Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising funds to assist sick children and their families.

He is married with two daughters.

 

Srinivas Venkatesh - Chief Financial Officer

Venkatesh has been instrumental in the growth of WT SeaAir overseeing strategic mergers and acquisitions all over the globe.

He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of domain experience in Financial Management, Freight Forwarding, Transportation and Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions industry.

Srinivas is also a member of the following organizations: Institute of International Auditors, Institute of Directors, Institute of Secretaries and Managers and The British International Freight Association. He holds a Doctorate in Business Management and Logistics.

Gary Morter - Managing Director

Gary joined W.T. SeaAir in 2005 as Executive Director responsible for operational and cost management.

He has worked extensively in liner and logistics management and was previously MD of a leading ocean carrier affiliated logistics division.

 

Nick Turner - Sales Director

Nick joined the company in 1991 with more than 30 years experience in freight forwarding.

Responsible for attracting many multi-national and retail accounts, he works closely with importers particularly in the garment and FMCG industries.

He has helped many clients achieve their goals to cut freight costs whilst fulfilling the Just-In-Time requirements of the consumer market.

He has developed and promoted the company’s GOH systems and vacuum packing services. Nick is also responsible for the management of the global network of exclusive agents

 

Joe Ho - Managing Director, Hong Kong

Joe Ho founded WT Hong Kong more than 30 years ago and is vastly experienced in the field of logistics, supply chain management and shipping.
